I love being around creatives. I love being around folks who can pick up an instrument and bang out an original tune in a matter of minutes. I love walking into a room with someone and picturing what could be in an empty space. I love the imagination that my sons have. Everything is an adventure, a new place, or a new game. I think it was Mark Batterson who said “As children of the creator, we should be the most creative people on the planet.”
What are you creating? Think outside of the normally “artsy” world. All of us have creative gifts that need to be used for God’s purposes. Maybe you need to get back into the kitchen. Maybe you need to get back into the tool shed. Whatever it is, I encourage you to create.
