Frozen Family Day

We had such a good time today! Spent the day hanging out! Nothing sweeter then snow, donuts, and an ice cream trip! I’m blessed beyond measure to have such a cool family. Even got to take a nap! By the way, have I mentioned this week how much I love my life? God blew my mind AGAIN earlier today with ANOTHER miracle. What I love is that these miracles are right on time, right in the middle of the fight. I don’t love the fight. I do love my God who supplies all of my needs according to His riches in Christ!

FYI: I do not use the word miracle lightly. When I say it I mean it (unless I’m joking…which I’m not right now…).

miracle n. An event that appears inexplicable by the laws of nature and so is held to be supernatural in origin or an act of God

Mama said there’d be days like this…

I don’t even know where to begin so I won’t try. Once in a while life will throw you a day when you ride the roller coaster of highs and lows. Today was that day for me. I went from heartbreak to affirmation and from fear to rejoicing all in about 12 hours! If you know me you know that I am pretty stable emotionally. I don’t let circumstances shake me up too much. That should tell you how crazy the circumstances where!

All I know is this:

Romans 8:28. Phillipians 4:15-20. God is good. God is faithful. Obeying Him is the ONLY smart choice.Prayer is powerful. The Body of Christ is strong. I love my life!

Thank you Lord for such an amazing/wild/intense/random/purpose-filled day! Thank you for coming through…again!

Friday Thanks

Thank God for His Word! I would be in a bad way right now if He didn’t speak so clearly.

Thank God for favor!  A good friend blessed me with a FREE  iPhone yesterday. I in turn gave it to my son for his birthday. He’ll use it as a glorified iPod Touch.

Thank God for family! I’ve been blessed with the best wife and kids on earth. They are my closest friends.

Thank God for a job! I know ministry is a lifestyle, but the facts are the facts. I get paid to serve my church. I’m very thankful.

Thank God for provision! I could be walking and living on the streets. I’m blessed beyond measure to have a home and a vehicle.

Thank God for friends! Johnny, Jonnie, Aaron, Jamie, Erik, Nelson, Mike, Mike….there are so many. Thank God for the brothers he has entrusted me to do life with.

Thank God for mentors! Too many to name here…but I’m thankful for those who take the time to teach, train and lead me.

Thank God for Apple! Did you really think I would leave the most superior computer company off of my list?

10 Years Ago

I can’t believe my son is 10 years old. – Insert parental cliches here- I can remember back in 98′ when some Dr told me and Jaemi to abort him because he wouldn’t make it. And here we are 10 years later.  What a testimony to how big God is.

I’m so proud of my boy. He’s such a good kid. A gentle giant. Brilliant.
